We would like to pick your brain!

Our brain is constantly changing. New information and experiences, stress, lack of sleep, medications and alcohol use, all affect our brain function. Just like the rest of our body, our brain needs exercise, rest, and good nutrition to be at its best. Sometimes however, we may be doing all the right things, yet worry about situations that may seem out of character for us. We need to recognize the difference between normal age related memory loss and signs that there may be something else wrong.

Tell your provider if you experience these symptoms:
- Constant poor judgment and decision making
- Inability to manage a budget
- Loose track of the date or the season
- Difficulty having a conversation
- Misplacing things and being unable to retrace steps to find them
- We all lose things from time to time, make bad, uneducated  decisions, forget a particular word or to pay a bill when due. But if these issues become a constant    problem, tell your doctor as soon as possible in order to get evaluated for Alzheimer’s disease.
